In my experience, adult learners appreciate and crave choice. When they are given the opportunity to choose the method in which they experience the new learning, they tend to be more engaged. Choosing the method of delivery allows them to support their learning needs.

In recent years, there has been a shift in training delivery methodologies towards empowering participants to actively engage in delivering content alongside the trainer. This approach recognizes the immense value and potential that participants bring to the learning process and emphasizes their active involvement, collaboration, and co-creation of knowledge. By adopting training methodologies that empower participants, trainers can create a more dynamic, interactive, and effective learning experience.

While trying to build our instructors confidence in classroom instruction, we conducted in-person training. One instructor was chosen to deliver attention steps, questioning techniques or something else from the lesson in front of other instructors. This would give others ideas, and the opportunity to ask questions to develop there skills in the classroom.
