By considering the personas' goals, motivations, and pain points, you can create experiences that are more engaging, enjoyable, and successful. Make data-driven decisions: Personas can be used to inform the design of all aspects of your tourism product or destination, from marketing and website design to product development and customer service.

Pretty much everyone is aware of what the Personas are, but don't just blindly create personas and follow them as a "Checklist" just because you saw it on some random course or Google's UX Course that personas are a part of your UX process so you should include personas in every design project of yours. You should always have a solid reason for "Why". Why did you create a persona in the first place? What was the need to create that persona? How will you use that persona for your benefit? A UX Process is NOT a CHECKLIST.

Crafting effective personas is integral to understanding diverse user bases. In a project for an educational app, we conducted user interviews with students from various academic backgrounds. One persona, "Alex," emerged as representative. Alex, a computer science major, highlighted the need for advanced features, while also emphasizing the importance of intuitive design for non-tech-savvy peers. Always think of the persona (either user persona or marketing persona) and the scenario where this persona acts. Here include needs, any pain points and overall goals. This will serve you well in the user journey mapping method.
