In this scenario since sound is the product, there is a built in opportunity to use sound to help guide a user with accessibility issues based on the assumption that they are able to hear to some degree. In addition, haptics and text can be used to help guide the user with color inputs and contrast usage being considered overall.

In my experience, letting users upload their preferred sounds can help. For example, with mobile alarms, using the same tone daily can make waking up a challenge as our minds get used to it.

One thing I’ve found helpful is giving users the ability to control the sounds played during their focus time. For instance, a user may love to hear flute tones while studying. While flute tones may not be readily available on their device, giving them the option to add links from YouTube or other music apps, then using ai to find similar sounds to curate exactly what the user wants, would be ideal for the overall user experience

The core of the product should be to produce high quality sound and deliver them to the user at the highest quality. Starting with a quality product helps the design with more opportunity. If the product has low quality, the design has to make up for it's shortcomings.
