Maintain good records. Enable and Train staff. Practice good hygiene. Maintain facilities and equipment.

Al momento de hacer las pruebas iniciales y estandarización se debe hacer un mapeo de las diversas problemáticas y cuellos de botella. Estos deben ser analizados con el fin de encontrar la causa raíz y definir acciones que corrijan o mitigen las ineficacias. Una vez estas pruebas y análisis son concluyentes en acciones se trazan los flujos y se formalizan con el fin de ser seguidos y controlados para hacer las mejoras necesarias las veces necesarias.

Implement a robust document control system to manage and update SOPs, batch records, and any other relevant documents. Ensure that only the latest approved versions are in use.

La calidad debe producirse y no controlarse. El mejor proceso de control es definir las desviaciones que deben ser detectadas durante la producción misma y que se encuentran fuera de las panoplias pre-aprobadas. Los controles pueden hacerse por robotos o por las personas producción. Esto evitará producir la "no calidad" y "mermas". Muestreos estadísticos y pruebas de laboratorio serán una herramienta adicional para validar que los controles, especificaciones y panoplias utilizadas en producción son efectivos o necesitan mejoras.

One thing that I have found helpful is to install machines that are hygienically built e.g. no hollow bodies, to avoid build up of contamination due to inability to clean and sanitize properly. These points will then become sources of inoculum for fresh batches produced. Also, for food products, HACCP and all the prerequisite programs must be implemented to address all food safety issues. For other products quality Management system principles must be implemented. GMP is part of these programs.

Regularly conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GMP standards. Prepare for external inspections by regulatory authorities by maintaining thorough documentation.

I would say verification and validation of your process should be done together. Verification is actually carrying out series of tests and building up historical data to prove that the process is working and that what you have set up is effective. Validation is showing that what you are setting up at the inception will work because you have your information already in scientific literature and technical reports. E.g. pasteurization temperature is already known to be 72 degrees C for 5 mins, so you set it at that temperature and all you need to do is verify after installation.

In my experience, socialization and training are the longest and difficult step in ISO. Building employees' awareness and then making them implement the SOPs, must be carefully done or the SOPs will just be another piece of paperwork.

Training Programs: Develop training programs for personnel involved in the manufacturing process. Training should cover GMP principles, SOPs, and safety protocols.

GMP standards are essential in Food products and Food packaging goods manufacturing process to meet customers requirements. Design the process considering the following 1) Incoming materials- cleanliness, traceability and control 2) Production process, quality control system, and packing of goods, cleaning programs, air quality, work environment, temperature and humidity control etc. 3) Facility hygiene,employees and personal hygiene practices, Hygiene policy. 4)Foreign bodies contamination prevention. 5)Pest control system 6) Usage of secondary fluids like chemicals, greases, lubricants etc. 7) Maintenance process. 8) Storage of goods.

The small 'c' in front of cGMP stands for 'Current' good manufacturing practices. Read up to ensure you are following the up to date CURRENT cGMP's.

Many times when reading an SOP it is difficult to "visualize" what you are reading. Either because the steps are not defined or do not have a visual aid to fully understand what you are reading. A good SOP should have well-defined steps that are easy to understand and visualize. A visual aid in steps that require it would be an excellent way to understand the procedure being read. In general, a friendly and easy-to-read SOP structure would be ideal.
