How can you create a career statement that reflects your goals and values?

When I took the time to focus on my own goals and motives, it not only gave me direction but also added sincerity to my statement. Knowing whether I wanted to seek new opportunities, connect with like-minded people, or just express my passion and drive dictated the tone and messages. This resulted in a statement that properly reflected both my career aspirations and personal values.
