I have spent about 7 years to understand the present dynamics of the learning, which is changing from surface learning to deep learning. This shift is about to impact the K12 segment significantly. Your objectives should always consider the audience first, even before yourself. You certainly need to know what you need to communicate, but you also have to think of how the audience would like to consume that content, if they consume it at all. “Relevant” is the key.

The objectives give the learner a reason to consume your content. They should be able to answer the question, "what is in it for me?"

Not only that, but… What content delivery method has worked in the past for you and for your competitors? Don’t be disruptive just for the sake of being disruptive. Go to where the audience is. Keep in mind that your intended audience will always have other stuff to do: plan your content and its delivery around this fact.

Analyse your content: do you have all the facts, figures, data, and examples to meet the learning objectives? Gather what you don't have and delete what is unnecessary or not aligned with the objectives. Your content should be clear, concise, and to the point.

The most important thing here: the more relatable your content is, the better it will stick with your target audience. Even a well-verses, highly technical MIT student will understand better with examples that they can identify with. Always make it easy for your audience to have access to your message when planning delivery.

El feedback es necesario y recomendable, pero, es mucho mejor, la autoevaluación. Cada uno es consciente de los objetivos que tiene y debe ser capaz de evaluar si lo ha cumplido o no. Y ajustar y volver a actuar. En un ciclo eterno y sin fin.
