However, after the shipping carrier acknowledges receipt of the cargo/baggages, he will provide the company that re-books the shipment with the Master Bill of Lading, at this juncture, freight forwarder would in turn tender an invoice receipt and proof of cargo ownership.

In Conclusion, reconfirm the origin and destination of the shipment is well captured. Get an insurance cover, cross-check the data entered such as the shipper’s name and contact information consignee’s name and contact information freight forwarder, vessel name, shipment`s narration, quantity of the shipment and accuracy of information given. All these information if correctly entered would probably lessen the risks attached to it. Ensure all the relevant documents and is secured to foster seamless shipping operation to avoid unnecessary delay at the destination port.
