1) Ill be more practical here... if I say: ill give you back all the packaging you used for logistics processes ...then you as a supplier would reuse this packaging for other orders ... imagine millions of orders with this return scheme saving on raw materials... 2) Sustainability is an order qualifier..its a given ... the bus is leaving with you or without you ... and circularity will make you stand out as it is now an order winner 3) a circular model removes the burden of product repair and maintenance and thats what clients wish for either through design for ease of repair or via after sales service

The arguments for convincing them are the same that made your own company go circular: cost savings, reducing material supply risks, sustainable growth in new markets, reputation gains, etc. The final argument for convincing suppliers may sound blunt, and you should not start with it: As you are serious about implementing your own circular business models, you need suppliers who want to be part of your circular value chain. If they are not ready to join, you may have to look for other suppliers.
