Starting with listening to the supervisor's ideas, writing them down, discussing the ideas to define the startup point, making two or three samples despite the one which contains the supervisors' ideas, and discussing the samples to select one as a reference that you will keep the design stage depending on... then good luck

With reference to my past experience I define the list of task involved in specific project along with the expected outcome in the specific task along with my superiors. Also will define the percentage contribution to each task it will help in future to track the progress of report. once each task is completed I will present it along with the pictorial view in all projection view along with ISO view to have clear understanding about completed task for review.

Typically in my workflow I share the 3D model using a browser based viewer. This way the end user being a client or supervisor doesn’t need to install any program, they can just click a link and view the 3D model at its current state. Most of the online viewers I use save a revision on each upload so it is very easy to see the changes made through out the project. After uploading and sharing I’ll receive an email with marked up screen shots with what the next revision should include.
