The people I’ve mentored asked me if I’d mentor them, not the other way around. Generally, a “mentee” sees an attribute or skill they want included in their toolset. For my part, I have a very narrow window of time to dedicate so I insist they always show up on time and they recognize that they should always be vigilant for those skills, they are looking for, in others (skills that I do not possess to pass along). They can call me 24/7 - if it’s important enough to wake me up at 2am, then I have time. These relationship pay dividends for both parties.

Those who view their entrepreneurial path as more than just business, aiming to impact the world positively. Diversity in thought and background is key, for fresh perspectives and challenges. I encourage mentees to give back, fostering mutual growth. I aim to mentor individuals who will continue this chain of mentorship, ensuring our collective wisdom and experiences benefit the future.
