In my experience, Git has been a good choice for version control. When it comes to Continuous Integration, AWS has been my go-to, providing a reliable and streamlined solution.
From my usage, I have found that Git is a very powerful version control method. Azure is also a simple way to ensure Continous Integration.

A good pipeline has a VCS, continuous integration layer, containers for services, and solid testing along with a notification service. I could go on if I had more characters, but I generally go with, in respective order, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Selenium, whatever language specific testing language for unit tests, and Slack to notify. The heart of the matter is test what is important to your application (which is mostly your unit tests) and make sure the tools are understood by everyone. Software is a team sport
