How can you build relationships with people who have different personality types?

I use colours a lot to describe myself and understand those I work with. This feeds into understanding strengths, preferred ways to work, and enables more openess about different personalities.

Take time to consider the bigger context outside of this one moment of interaction. While interacting with people who have a different opinion or perspective I like to remind myself that there is a greater history and value system informing their outlook. The same is true for me. We can always relate honestly through patience and greater appreciation for each others' context.

In the coming era ATHENTICITY & PERSONAL BRAND buildling is the biggest Gold. And If you have to portray yourself as an authentic individual you have to be your truest personal self. Because its the personality of the founder that people buys...and not the product. So, create a Personal Authetic Personality type to achieve terrific success.

My personality is very type A. I have high expectations of myself and because of this I sometimes put high expectations of others. I sometimes feel time is always against me, like I’m not doing enough, I’m not giving my best which at times makes accomplishments difficult to celebrate. My main values are love, family/friends, and independence and if what I’m doing or saying does not align with this my spirit is interrupted and off balance. This makes me a very strong will person and sometimes it can be misinterpreted as aggression but all I want is for people to succeed and know that anything can happen with effort, consistency and discipline.

The first part of talking to anyone new is to learn more about them. Begin by learning more about all personalities, then embrace the uniqueness of each personality.

Here are a few ways that we can build relationships with people who have different personality types: 1. Recognize it’s ok for others to have personalities that show up differently than ours. 2. Follow the Simple Rules established by the Human Systems Dynamics Institute: a. Find the energy in difference - What distinct positive energies do we hold and how can we bring them together to do, be or have something that moves the needle forward for both/all of us? b. Connect through stories and impacts - What might we have in common that overshadows any personality differences we may have? c. Stand in inquiry - How can we be curious and inquisitive rather than getting stuck in assumptions, disagreements, judgments, and defensiveness?

Understand that the personality of people vary and you do not have people have same personalities everytime. Everyone is unique in their ways. You would need to be conversant with the deferring behaviours of people at your workplace and at home. The easiest way to get along with people is not to treat each and everyone the same way. Treat different people differently because they understand things differently.

One way to get started is to ask people you work with to see a few items: —personality assessments like Meyers Briggs —strengths assessments —their goals Also ask someone what are their superpowers and what really upsets them inside of work. I love to ask who is the best person youve worked for and best job they’ve had.

Se connaitre déjà permet de comprendre que nous avons tous des besoins différents en terme de communication. Ainsi, nous allons avoir cette prise de recul et ce temps de "préparation" ou nous allons pouvoir mettre en place les outils pour etre certains de bien transmettre les informations de la manière la plus globale et cohérente possible. Et ce temps de préparation devient très vite un automatisme

And for these we must have a compelling command over our emotional & intellectual ways of communication. ?Certainly communication style is the most difficult code to crack. For good communication the rapport establishment is very much important. Making eye to eye contact. If it's with a group or mass population it's difficult to get everyone's attention. So keep asking questions and suggestions from the participants. Know your audience and communicate according to the population.

When dealing with someone that has a different communication style than oneself you can ask yourself, do I wish to continue to butt heads, get frustrated or upset, or do I share with them my thoughts. I have a friend who would get upset at her parents for not hosting family dinners. This would continously eat at her and get her down. I suggested that she either tell her parents her wish for family dinners or as an adult, organize one herself. If you do not express what is going on inside than don't expect others to be a mind reader.

Survival for the fittest Okay, I know we all have heard about this. It's a famous theory given by Darwin. Basically through this quote he meant "He who Adapts, Survives" Yes, "Change is the constant" You have to adapt different stategies, different methods with changing time. You can't serve your client with the outdated version of your skills which is no more in use. We have to keep evolving are working methods to skyrocket our success rate.

Rightly said?? So,LinkedIn is basically for a platform where people can enhance their work skills, expand their network & portray themselves as Personal Brand... But I've found that members of Linkedin still suffers a lot when it comes to connections. To increase the chances of acceptance, one should do the proper RESEARCH of the account & write PERSONAL NOTE attached to the Invitation. This increases the chances of acceptance by 65%.

Take the time to understand peoples hobbies and what they do outside of work. Then follow up on those items. One great practice is to keep a list of fun facts about people you work with as you get to know them. That way you can remember

Individualization is key, it is important to relate to people on a personal level so that you understand the person and not put then in a box or category. Otherwise we might miss some important attributes

Always have the session in your control and don't let anyone lead the session. Keep the environment always calm. If something goes wrong, then there will stop and continue some later or postpone the session to some other day. Educating the client or recap about the last session will help to calm the environment.

Building relationships with people of different personality types involves understanding and appreciating their unique qualities. Listen actively, show empathy, and adapt your communication style to theirs. Find common interests and be open-minded to diverse perspectives. Patience and respect go a long way in fostering connections with individuals of varying personalities.
