Before getting started with BI you need to have the right mindset "If you can't measure it you can't improve it" When I approach a BI-related problem, first I check whether the strategic objectives are measurable. In this example, our strategic objective is to acquire new users for our mobile app. In my experience always assign One Metric That Matters (OMTM) for your strategic objective e.g. signup rate. You could have a few KPIs that could influence your OMTM but the ultimate goal is to improve your OMTM. I always use ratios to measure because they help to give more context eg 75% signup rate vs 1500 signups In my experience communicate the findings with a story, the story has to be built around your findings and test results.
One can follow below approach :- 1. Know your goals and problems: Figure out what you want to achieve (boost sales, cut costs?) and what's holding you back (confusing data, bad decisions?). 2. Measure your progress: Set clear targets (like sales numbers) and track how well you're doing now. 3. Plan how to use the BI tool: Who will use it? How will it share insights? Make sure it fits your needs. By showing how a BI tool solves specific problems and helps reach goals, you'll build a strong case for making that investment pay off.

Una vez detectado el caso de uso, convocar a consultoras expertas en tecnologías líderes de BI del mercado y proponerles cómo resolverían ese caso de uso acompa?ado de un peque?o ejemplo o prototipo práctico que de idea del resultado esperado. Una vez tengamos esas propuestas, podremos presentárselas al consejo para que decidan cuál sea la mejor propuesta en base a los criterios que consideren oportunos. Una vez se haya elegido esa herramienta, monitorizar que se cumplan las expectativas creadas una vez concluido el proyecto y exponer una memoria.

(Row level,object level, page level, encyptions etc) 3) Is it scalable and does it get updated frequently? 4) Are the visuals it provide sufficient for our business needs? 5) Is it user friendly? 6) What are the capital and operational costs? 7) Does the main ETL type of the tool align with the technical background of employees? You should track and measure the performance and outcomes of your BI tool against your predefined goals and indicators. You should also collect feedback and testimonials from your users and customers to evaluate their satisfaction and engagement. I believe this very important step in any BI tool investment. You have to come up with POCs and Pilots to evaluate your tool of choice. This evaluation should include various complexities from easy to high and actual data sets. That way when you share it with users for their feedback, it covers most of their use cases. Often, when evaluation is done with simple use cases and small data sets, most BI tools will pass your success criteria. But once the tool is adopted at enterprise level, you will discover lot of limitations.
