Radial Normally a typical belt conveyors lying on 3 sets of roller apart from head pulley,tail pulley, bend pulley etc. Belt conveyors driven by head pulley attached with gearbox, coupling, electric motor. While drive pulley pulled the belt, it ran with 2 idler roller at the side and one in the middle.there are return idler ,while return the belt it lies on return roller.
