I strongly agree that Cybersecurity is for everyone. It has levels to it, it’s not that everyone in IT needs to be an expert but at least know the basics. The weakest spot for a cyber attack is human. It’s easy to attack an organization through using an employee who is not Cybersecurity conscious. For example, an attacker can trick that employee into giving their credentials which would give a penetration door to the attacker. This example, even leads me to say that Cybersecurity should be taught beyond the IT team/people (at least the basics).

Fully agree that we can never reach 100% secure systems, that is way we need to keep monitoring and also have the backup plan in case of attack, even if we have at a certain time 99,9999% secure, that 0,0001% breach can be used for an entry point of an attack. Also in terms of risk analyzes, we should analyze the monitoring results and start by the one's that present higher probability to happen and with bigger impact in the organization

Cybersecurity is not just about the tools you put in place. In most cases, humans play the largest role in ensure that cybersecurity threats are properly handled and managed. We have to be prepared that tools we put in place may fail, and continue to strengthen our people and processes to handle should the worst scenario happens.
