2 Set up your environment

On the day of the interview, make sure you have a quiet, comfortable, and professional space to conduct the interview. Check your internet connection, camera, microphone, and lighting. Close any unnecessary tabs or applications on your device and mute any notifications. Dress appropriately and have a pen and paper ready to take notes. Also, have a copy of your resume, the job description, and your prepared stories handy for reference.

Test your lighting, network speed and connection at least 24-48 hours before your interview during the assigned interview time slot. Tape post-it notes (you do not want them flying away during your interview) with key responses to questions around the border of your computer monitor or nearby your updated resume. Keep good eye contact even if virtual!
