Sempre tenha no mínimo 3, e, considere os que tem largo estoque disponível com a maior variedade possível. Atualize a mesma constantemente, busque por novos fornecedores e substitua os que forem incompatíveis com a política da empresa.

Para nós da Indústria pequena e média o melhor meio é solicitar uma visita do vendedor. Uma conversa face a face trás muitas oportunidades e evita diversas dores de cabe?a. S?o conversas rápidas mas com troca de informa??es importantes, sobre o que você espera do fornecedor e ele espera da empresa. Também pe?a amostra dos principais produtos que lhe fez ter interesse, avalie a qualidade junto ao usuário final se tiver a oportunidade e veja o feedback do mesmo. Por último, sempre pe?a uma avalia??o da situa??o fiscal da empresa, veja se a mesma n?o tem impedimentos ou processos abertos de acordo com a política de sua empresa.

Selecting the best supplier can be done by defining requirements, researching, assessing quality, analyzing costs, considering capacity and scalability, evaluating location and logistics, checking financial stability, assessing communication, seeking references, and negotiating terms for a mutually beneficial partnership. Again, there are some other things that can be taken into consideration. Which is their existing clients/customers, the key certifications that they achieved,their delivery records for other customers etc.

In my experience sourcing overseas, site visits are extremely important. Different cultures can have different ideas of what “ethical standards” means. It’s important to make sure you and your supplier are on the same page, and a site visit is the quickest way to assess whether a new supplier is the right fit for your business. Most of my supplier relationships have been positive, but unfortunately, there are some suppliers that will buy fake certifications or out source work to third party suppliers that do not have the same certifications or ethical standards. On site visits also establish trust in the relationship (on both ends).

Choosing suppliers who share our vision is crucial. We assess potential partners through a comprehensive process that includes RFPs, RFQs, and site visits. We prioritize suppliers with certifications like ISO, PeTA or Fair Trade, indicating a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. No meu último servi?o, uma atitude legal que iniciei foi a reuni?o bimestral com meus fornecedores chaves. Sempre lhes enviei demandas semanalmente, e, controlava todas às respectivas chegadas. No final de cada mês, elaborava um relatório com os pedidos feitos, análise de prazo, qualidade de embalagem, qualidade do produto final dentre outros pontos importantes. Isso fortalecia a parceria e a melhoria contínua.

Collaborate with your suppliers who are interested in doing this to have what your requirements are. For example, my most recent client is looking to become more sustainable. They have approached me to initiate sourcing into sustainable fabrics at fair prices which they can utilise to push there initiative. This is a good way to progress your initiative, share the cost and workload and also build a lasting relationship and collaboration.

Monitorar desempenho n?o se trata apenas de olhar relatórios e índices de performance na entrega, isto envolve também, visitas periódicas e auditorias estratégicas com viés de aprimorar as qualidades do fornecedor e corrigir os erros.

Na minha última experiência, realizava os relatórios citados acima. Porém, anexava também feedbacks de nossos usuários final com rela??o ao desempenho do produto adquirido. Se estava o atendendo, facilitando seu dia ou se estava atrapalhando. Caso houvesse feedbacks negativos, anotava detalhadamente para que fosse enviado o mais breve possível ao fornecedor.
