La innovación en este ámbito contribuye a la competitividad, la sostenibilidad y el logro de los resultados deseados a nivel empresarial.

A inova??o na manuten??o tem que estar alinhada com as tecnologias juntamente com a Gerencias Coorporativas para acompanhar os desenvolvimentos do mercado e propor melhores práticas alinhadas ao custo e processos da empresa. A quebra de paradigmas sendo inovada alinhado a toda a cadeia produtiva, assim como no setor de manuten??o traz benefícios e melhorias significativas que aumenta a produtividade e otimiza o processo. A inova??o na manuten??o parte por treinar a equipe e implementar ferramentas apropriadas para a necessidade. Treinar e desenvolver a equipe é a chave para otimizar o processo e assim ter melhores resultados nos negócios.

Na minha experiência pude ver que nem sempre a inova??o vai gerar resultados exponenciais. O que temos visto em muitos casos é muito do mesmo, ou seja, dispositivos e sistemas que na verdade apenas maquiam o que já vem sendo feito de forma eficaz. é preciso antes de implementar algo, analisar a viabilidade do investimento e o retorno que isso trás.

In commissioning the innovation of a new factory with malfunctioning safety switches, I was powerless to make changes. I have a history of fixing that sort of thing replacing failure prone door magnet switches with twist lock plugs threaded through the caged guarding of automated plastic siding and steel mill shears. This company's panel and gate safety protections were a messy collection of differently keyed doors and guards that relied on about 5 different shape-coded keys as they were manufactured in different European countries. At a different company, a tire manufacturer, earlier in my career, we had simply used a $20 hasp and keyed alike padlock to achieve a better standardized safety function on gates and electrical panels.

Now that the assessment has been completed, the next step is to create an implementation plan where you detail out the individual tasks that should be completed in order to close the gap between how good you are and how good you can be. These steps have to be clearly communicated to the respective client and/or stakeholders so they fully understand each task and agree on those tasks. Each task is prioritized, responsibility assignments are made and target dates are established. The implementation plan also provides for an opportunity to teach, inspire and motivate others to make the needed changes for improvement.

This should be looked at as a long term project taking into consideration speed, accuracy, maintenance and what is obtainable currently and at the same time projecting how it will fit and survive in the future

Any innovation strategy will contain a set of guides to serve as the roadmap your organization will follow toward success. Think of it as a point A and point B. A is where you are now and B is where you want to end up. It’s often easy to pinpoint the B, asking where do we want to be in a year, in 5 years. Once you have that, write it down and circle it. Then web map it out. The benefits, the savings, the public view, all of it, record all of the reasons why you want to reach this point. Then ask how do we get there, what is our next actionable step. Repeat the process for each step. Asking how do we take it, why we are taking it, and what follows after.

The adoption of new ideas and strategies by the organization determine the degree of difficulty for the implementation of changes.

Implementing the improvement tasks can seem to be an overwhelming amount of work. But with a good overall implement plan with a list of improvement tasks that are easy to understand and are prioritized, the execution of this work is much easier. Also, if there are dedicated personnel assigned to the project the work is much easier and the progress of the work is expedited. The implementation of these improvements is not a part time job that is heaped on top of someone's already busy schedule. This is often the mistake made by many clients or stakeholders.
