A lo largo de mi carrera como escritora he realizado una gran cantidad de desafíos de escritura y ninguno me capacita para escribir guiones de televisión o cine. Los desafíos de escritura generalmente están orientados a romper el bloqueo escritor, mejorar como novelistas o cuentistas, encontrar inspiración, etc. Todo aquel que quiera escribir guiones, deberá formarse específicamente la materia, a través de manuales o, mucho mejor, asistiendo a clases presenciales o virtuales.

The main objective of a writing challenge is to establish a writing habit. Once the habit is in place, around 60 days later, it becomes more natural to write, to conceive ideas, and to never get into writer's block! Writing challenges are also crucial for accountability. By committing to a challenge, you are firstly accountable to yourself and, if the challenge is public or shared among your peers, also to others. When you get into the writing habit, you could keep doing these challenges but focus on improving a specific dimension, for example, working on better sales copy, dialogues, or screenplays; the sky is the limit when writing is the medium.
