For example, we need a comprehensive strategy and integrated supplier ecosystem for software, hosting, system integration, and application development/maintenance services, but that will likely encompass multiple contracts and suppliers. In order to navigate that successfully we need to acquire a broad skillset and stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends.

The truth is that many times when the sourcing process begins procurement is not even present- a business partner meets a vendor at a trade show. While other practices are important with AI to be seen as a future , data exchanges becoming crucial threats, I would like first to evaluate vendors on security aspects.
