How can UN agencies collaborate better with civil society and local partners?
The United Nations (UN) is a complex system of agencies, funds, programs, and specialized entities that work on a wide range of issues, from peace and security to human rights and development. To achieve their goals, UN agencies need to collaborate effectively with civil society and local partners, who often have valuable insights, expertise, and networks on the ground. However, there are also challenges and barriers that hinder such collaboration, such as bureaucracy, funding, communication, and trust.
