Reading blogs and Subscribing to weekly newsletter are great source to get current industry insights. But what I followed is the documentation of the relevant tech stack which really help you like anything. It will have all new addition, provides how to synchronised the upward capabilities and many more. Hence my point of view always and everytime go for the documentation.

Lo práctico de aprender y de escuchar opiniones bajo los podcasts recae fuertemente en influirnos o afirmar el como estamos pensando y/o creencias. Muchas veces el quien quiero ser, como lo estoy haciendo, que hice son reflejadas en lo que estamos escuchando o viendo para mejorar. I am not quite sure why this comes fifth when in reality it should come first or second. Instead of reading random articles on the internet, the most reliable source of information are the official docs, then official training and certification.

In my opinion please do the following, Take the long standing pain points in the architecture of the product, What is the real issue customer is facing, Why are not customer able to migrate or upgrade, Why do we need so many dependencies to be installed , Why is that integration team not able to deploy bug fixes easily. Why is any change in interface is hard to be pushed , We need to get answers for the same with latest tools and develop and iterate. These are the points I look in hackathon (great places to interact and come with innovative solutions)

But if you want to stay ahead of the game then you need to come up with your own ideas and experiment with your own solutions. The things that your competitors share at events and webinars, in articles etc are either things they wish they could do but believe no one is able to do, or things that they did a long time ago and are not worried about others copying. That said, it’s good to check if others have already tried your ideas to make sure you’re not spending time and resources in vain - or maybe your idea of how to do it is better!

Avoid trends - go with what is proven and what works otherwise you will be paying for the beta testing of new technology and all the expensive aggravation that goes with it. The improvements you can obtain by working smarter with better processes on infrastructure that is already there cannot be overstated.
