Challenging yourself to create personal projects and treating them like they are for a real client, can allow you to take full advantage of your skills and test new skills without the fear of ruining a client's site.

Challenging yourself is what pushes the idea of progress. I do this with forecasting sales. For example, we expect to grow gross sales by 20% YoY before Q3. Reverse engineer the growth total and divide it by the amount of months within the target date. This will give you a great start in tracking your progress.

In my experience, relaxing and taking your time is important. Honestly, you’re not that big of a deal. I figured this out early on and I’m glad I did. I one cares about your sales except you. Steady, smart growth will outpace rapid uncertainties growth every time. Bad clients=bad retention.
