How can project-based learning improve environmental science education?
Environmental science is a multidisciplinary field that explores the interactions between humans and the natural world. It involves topics such as ecology, climate change, biodiversity, conservation, pollution, energy, and sustainability. To learn environmental science effectively, students need to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a sense of environmental responsibility and awareness. One way to achieve these learning outcomes is through project-based learning (PBL), a teaching method that engages students in authentic, real-world challenges that require them to apply their knowledge and skills.
