If you don‘t bring them, you might more likely fail. So, It is about the critical one that people on the program need to be more successful in their current or their new role: 1. If your new is about turning around a business, it will help you to have been part of a project before, where a business had been turned around successfully. 2.If your new role is your first leadership role, it would be highly impactful for your future success, to already experience leadership as a project leader, where your team members give you feedback on your leadership effectiveness.
