The original GROW coaching model allows an interactive conversation with a coachee or a sales team. The way you hold the conversation will determine a successful outcome or not. I have been using it hundreds of times with sales individuals at all level.

The model can surely do what it stands for, for the executive. Yet, it will be irrelevant if the intention, the motivation is not present from the exec. Goal and intention are different. Many leaders have goals but lack in deeper motivation to achieve them. Hence I’ll suggest to use the model when the motivation is more important than the goal and the tool! That brings a whole set of inquiry and questions that preceded the application of the model. ??????
