**Exciting Announcement!** Today, our leadership joined Heartland Community College in announcing plans for the COUNTRY Financial trail and prairie restoration at Heartland. “COUNTRY has had a longstanding, successful partnership with Heartland Community College that has led to the development of exceptional talent here in Bloomington-Normal,” said Jim Jacobs, CEO at COUNTRY Financial. “We are excited to build on that success with this additional investment at Heartland, which will create a place where everyone, including many COUNTRY employees and their families living here, can gather and connect.” Work will begin this spring with completion planned for July 2025. This week the Early College Scholars from Heartland Community College visited the COUNTRY corporate headquarters for a day of career development and learning with their mentors. Our leaders and employee mentors enjoyed spending time with the students, learning about their educational aspirations and helping them take steps to move them further along the path toward their future careers. The COUNTRY Financial Scholars program provides scholarship assistance, mentorship, and technology support to high school students with demonstrated financial need.
