Como profissional de treinamento e educadora, percebo a dificuldade neste processo, pois precisamos alinhar o cronograma, os conteúdos exigidos pelo Cliente para serem aplicados em seu treinamento, o fator tempo de treinamento, tempo para planejar, entre outros. Por esse motivo, a gamifica??o acaba sendo pequenos refor?os, exercícios de fixa??o desenvolvidos em plataformas específicas com recursos gratuitos.

2 Why use gamification in ILT?

Instructor-led training (ILT) is a traditional form of learning, where an instructor guides a group of learners through a curriculum, using various methods, such as lectures, demonstrations, discussions, exercises, and assessments. ILT has many advantages, such as personalization, interaction, feedback, and collaboration; however, it can also be associated with learner boredom, distraction, passivity, and resistance. Careful planning, design, and implementation are essential when gamifying your ILT. It's important to define learning goals and outcomes to determine what learners should know, do, or feel after the ILT session. Additionally, you must consider the learners' needs, preferences, and motivations, and how they learn best. Choosing game elements and mechanics to support learning goals and appeal to learners' motivations and emotions is also key. Furthermore, designing game scenarios that integrate the game elements and mechanics into the ILT session is critical for creating meaningful experiences for learners. Finally, implementing and testing your gamification will help you deliver and facilitate the gamified ILT session while monitoring and evaluating its effectiveness and impact.

Designing a game that’s actually effective at achieving your goals isn’t easy. This article is not going to help you be a good game designer. If you don’t play a lot of different games let alone design them, don’t expect to produce anything good at the start. Connect with people who do play and/or design games, play-test your design ideas with them, and take all the feedback they are willing to offer. If possible, collaborate with an actual professional game designer.

A nice tip I have received and would like to add is to utilize the Octalysis gamification framwork while designing any learning game. It tackles 8 elements that should exist to a certain extent to have a learning game. Dropping any of the elements would make your game an activity or a drill.
