The most important step is to celebrate the things done by data stewards. Showing the value-add that is done by a data steward, to not only other data stewards in different business line, but also to whole data stakeholders, would definitely be reward. If we have dashboard, and if the value-add reflects on it, that would encourage the data stewards community to achieve more.
