To collect a proper data we need to have a plan for maintenance inspection with measure temperature, vibration etc. Base no this kin of data we can predict some of equipment malfunction and we have possibility for earlier activities which can reduce a downtime.

The most important is to establish a proper check list for daily TPM. This give us a lot of information which could give us a very good data for maintenance planing.
