They 1st understand Regulator and legal security requirement as per business. They have to identify assets on which which respective control applying. Now should have security policy. Understand security standard available in market Select and design as per business need. Must think at least 5 year vision at the time of design solution and making strategy.

Cybersecurity professionals hold significant knowledge about information security challenges on the ground. At times, industry standard could be more bookish but cybersec professional can bring in practical perspective on implementation of these standards
