In my opinion there needs to be an integration of your vision and what people want. Unless there is a shared vision that majority shares. Yes MoGu’s speak about focusing on our purpose - however life doesn’t follow that rule always. To an extent we need to be realistic so that we don’t end up being frustrated. It is important to setup ourselves mentally for accepting that creativity is personal - not everyone may like the outcomes. Sometimes knowing that it will take time to reach the end goal keeps us sane and focused.

As a creative professional, managing your energy is essential to maintaining your motivation and resilience. To do this, it’s important to establish healthy boundaries and practice self-care activities, such as exercise, meditation, or hobbies. Getting into a flow state is essential for good creative process, whether you're an artistic creative or just an out-of-the-box thinker in your work space. Don't be discouraged, however, if this is difficult at first. Feeling distracted when you sit down to do work you love or care about is normal; it is not a sign that you're unfocused or lack creativity. It's all about pushing through those initial hurdles and embracing that mindfulness and presence.

One element that I feel works is to break the mould. Often we get typecast, it is important to be seen as versatile, adaptable and flexible. Building it as a core competency to attempt something different always helps. Remember “standards maybe set by norms, but there is always a better way to do things” Cheers
