Economics of Cloud Based Tools for control logic design should be very carefully looked at. Cost structure and model should be very clear and development model should also be looked at carefully. Cost structure and model should be viable for business as business grows and development model should have options of self serve, provide tools for rapid development and need to be in such a way that custom components and standard components are separate. This may be important for customer who want to avoid lock-in to a specific cloud based tool and will be important for provider to have sustainable relationship with customer.
