In my perspective, all the previous points are already good enough to get good results. Speech recognition, NPL, knowledge representation had nice evolutions in the last 5 years. For now, I think that AI needs to be more customized to understand the public that it is interacting with. This means to get some characteristics of emphaty, where the words, sentences, and manner to communicate adapts itself taking in view the personality identified by the AI.
