Analyse data according to the type of data and the volume with time period. If this is not going to be of big volume, then the trend analysis may not convey proper results. Hence choose the right statistical methods to analyse the data. For example, if the data is of more transaction in nature, then we can try sophisticated Marcov Chain Analysis. Appropriate techniques will give you a good result out of your research.
