Training data needs to be a representative of actual population. It is important to ensure we do not exclude any specific group fron our training model. This will create a biased output. There is a need from business leaders to have basic AI fluency in order for them to understand how training data should be selected, categorised, and consumed for training the algorithm. This will ensure it reflects the business problem they are trying to solve as opposed to chasing accuracy% of an AI model.

4 Test Accuracy

After training, it's crucial to test the model's accuracy using a separate dataset not used during the training phase. This step verifies how well the model can generalize its predictions to new, unseen data. A high accuracy rate indicates that the model is reliable and ready to be deployed in your business operations. I believe this is one of the most important steps in prediction using models. What is the accuracy of the model. Usually it is calculated by splitting the available data into training and testing. I believe for qualitative analysis like prediction it is imperative to have growth mindset. Initially the model results can be taken as indicative and then once enough confidence is gained it can be incorporated into the actual process.
