This may seem general, but it works; the same applies to AI. To be truly good in a field, you need to understand the first-level principles that the field is based on. In AI, there's a lot of math involved: derivates, gradient descent, etc. And when I say understand, I mean truly understand. Those concepts are non-intuitive, it takes time to wrap your head around them. You need to develop the intuition around them. This is the only way you will be able to build new things, find new use cases, and stand out from the crowd. It will take some time, but most people will not invest, so if you put in serious time, you will have a competitive advantage. Don't just do a course and think you got it, put in the work.

There are many tutorials and courses out there, but make sure that you understand what you are developing.
