Zero Trust isn't a new concept, and its adoption has been slower than expected. Gartner predicts a utilization boom by 2026. As the topic suggests, Zero Trust is a concept, a framework, not a product, and has 7 key pillars according to NIST: Identity, Device, Network/Environment, Application and Workload, Data, Visibility and Analytics, Automation and Orchestration. All pillars contribute to a robust source of truth, minimizing false positives and raising the bar in your cybersecurity infrastructure. Like a PDCA, things must work like a virtuous circle, constantly updating to match the changes of an increasingly hybrid and elastic environment.
