You have to master the Disruptor Trifecta - good judgment, knowing the industry, and being tech-savvy. Let's say that good judgment is table stakes. The other two areas can be the killers. In my experience, corporate execs often know the industry well, but may not be tech-savvy (meaning they don't understand how new technology is changing the boundaries of what's possible). Entrepreneurs, on the other hand, are typically tech-savvy but don't know the industry well. I witnessed this all the time when running UPS Ventures. Cool tech with a superficial knowledge of the industry is a recipe for failure (the proverbial hammer in search of a nail issue). Immerse yourself in the industry to understand business AND thought processes.

"The Best" in terms of features, quality, usability will never end with one point and say, "This Is The Max"!! Continuous Improvement need in all dimensions, which starts from concept till end of life. In terms of productivity., Manufactuing site plays a major role in terms of product cost. Usability of system and machines and tools needs to give long terms benefits. Continuous learning could be either by the improvements in the available technology with own observations, skills and continuous field observations.
