It's really crucial to get comprehensive understanding of organisation's vision and align the goal accordingly. Once that has been discussed, we can set the goal in SMART way (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant & Time Boxed) and add subsequent items to achieve the goal. Secondly, we need to prioritise the tasks based on the impact and obviously that requires multiple discussions with my manager to agree on this priorities. Lastly, as a Servant Leader we need to develop a trusting relationship with our managers through consistent, reliable, and high-quality work.

Firstly, we need to understand our goals and what we want to achieve in upcoming times. Once we have analyzed that then comes the second part of understanding our manager's goals. Trying to converse actively by involving ourselves in the conversations. Showing our keen interest in knowing what they want in near future of their career is something we should adhere to listen. Lastly, aligning both of the goals to get a better view of the vision both me and my manager has, comes as very important tool. This helps in advancing towards a successful and unified goal.

Encourage a proactive mindset by facilitating discussions on how each team member can align their strengths with the team’s objectives. With this you'll enhance productivity and instill a shared sense of purpose and direction. Questions to Consider: How can we balance immediate needs with long-term objectives? What support do team members need to be successful? How can we regularly reassess and adjust our priorities to stay aligned with our vision?

Maintaining transparency is one of the key properties of agile mindset. There is should be clarity in our approach towards the unified goals and everything should well communicated to our manager time-to-time. This not just helps in maintaining progress but also builds up the trust within the employee and boss. And involving them in any issues only helps in the new ideas and different approaches for the issue's solutions.

It is always my goal to best understand those whom I serve. Understand what they really really care about about both in business and personally. The more I connect to that which lies deep inside their heart the more I know how best to serve in a manner that provides deep meaning for them. So… ask questions of your leader that most don’t. 1. What do you really really care about? 2. Where is your happy place… a place when you are there you forget about time, obligation and are naturally present? 3. What character trait do you value most in those that serve you? 4. What does breakthrough look like to you personally? 5. How can I be better for you? In sum, truly get to know those whom you serve to deliver more meaningful impact.
