Whenever sustainability becomes embedded into a company's goals, it should be treated exactly like a business goal in terms of accountability and tracking. As with any other goal, you need to report progress regularly, track impact, celebrate wins, and identify blockers to pivot as quickly as possible. You should track not only social and environmental impact but also the associated business benefits. This will strengthen the credibility of your sustainability program. At Glovo, we use OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to track impact and sustainability goals, and we built an internal tool to automate reporting, including corollary business metrics.
