Fully grasping the situation is knowing the company’s business and expectations, and employee capabilities, willingness and expectations. Is there a gap already here? If so, solving the already complex issues becomes more complex as delivery and execution will be in the hands of employees.

I enjoy tackling problems strategically as a business owner because our main job is to solve problems. When my clients come to me with an issue, I help them understand it from all angles so they can find the best solution. I often use the "five whys" technique to drill down and get to the core of the problem. I teach this approach to my mentees and clients so they can dig deep and find effective solutions by understanding the root of the problem.

One of the biggest issues that can undermine any business is its core values. Core values are not merely a brand’s commitment but stretch down to a deeper connection with all associated operations. I segment these into three channels: Value towards employees Value towards clients Value towards the public Creating a strong core is always challenging. Entrepreneurs often follow their self-proclaimed worldviews to establish business propositions, which often start well but end vaguely in total failure. Understanding that these values share the same core purpose can resolve 99% of problems. The key is to synchronize properly.

This perspective is sound and reflects a fundamental principle of effective problem-solving in business coaching. Fully understanding the situation before proposing solutions ensures that the interventions are targeted and effective. Asking probing questions and actively listening helps uncover the root causes of issues, preventing superficial fixes. Techniques like the "5 Whys" are valuable for drilling down to the underlying problems, ensuring that the solutions address the core issues rather than just the symptoms. This approach leads to more sustainable and impactful outcomes for clients.

In my experience, understanding issues and problems as a business coach involves a structured approach to identifying the challenges your clients face. Active listening during initial conversations should provide your clients with the space needed to talk freely about their business and the issues they perceive. Additionally, encouraging your clients to give more detailed responses by asking questions like "can you tell me more about this challenge?" or "what impact is this issue having on your business?", should allow you to fully understand the problems your client is facing in order to define objectives and potential solutions.

Para establecer Objetivos es importante poder definir primeramente el estado o situación actual en la que te encuentras. Y en esa definición incluir tus fortalezas como Coach, tus habilidades, actitudes, valores y emociones empoderantes que has desarrollado hasta ese momento. Para luego con ello mirar a tu entorno y reconocer los obstáculos y qué es aquello que te impide avanzar. Verificar que es lo que necesitas para avanzar y lograr las metas. Luego de poder definir tu estado actual, es importante que definas dónde quieres llegar, es decir, el estado deseado a alcanzar. Y con todo ello, poder identificar las brechas que existen para alcanzar tu meta. Y trabajar en ellas.

You should always explore your options before making any hasty decisions. Make a list of all the pros and cons for each option, see what would be the best solution. Take time to think things through so your 100% confident in your decision making.

Once we get to the core of the problem, we can solve it. So I encourage my clients to make a list of all possible solutions to the problem. Then we try to see which one we want to test first and figure out how we can use and how to solve that problem for the client to see if there's any possible client when applying that solution and see if the pros and cons of that too because if we know the hurdles then we are able to have them go over the hurdles or avoid the hurdles more effectively. This is all part of the 360 issue and finding the solution to that problem
