I have been studying and jumping in QA for the last 30 years. I did the same with AI in the last 8 years. E ahead is a key of every professional and enterprise. Today I am a double QA and AI professional, that uses AI a lot in QA. Investing in tools and process is OK but if you do not invest in people you can't transform yourself and companies. Skills does not born from one day to another like magic. The leaders made part of this. Many problems are because the leaders invest only in employees (when invests) and forget yourself.

In addition to that, my 2 cents to this field of software testing is as follows: Software Test Automation is inevitable in today's world because of the following 3 benefits it has over manual testing: 1) Efficiency 2) Re-usability 3) Accuracy As an executive, one should examine the applications under testing at high level with the help of automation testers and leads, come up with an all round automation solution, and direct the automation team to stick the same. They should direct the automation team to follow automation testing best practices and follow the framework standards at all times. The team should avoid taking short cuts and perform proper impact analysis before making changes to the frameworks.

Test automation code is code in itself and should be implemented using good programming practice and principles to avoid creating an unmaintainable test repository.

I personally feel path of Sec testing is less traveled by QAs despite the fact it’s an important component of NF Testing. Prioritising security and keeping abreast of the latest security trends can safeguard our company's data and reputation. Encourage your team to adopt security best practices and invest in robust security testing tools. This proactive approach ensures your software remains resilient against threats, securing both your business operations and customer trust. Making security a fundamental aspect of your testing strategy is essential in today's digital landscape.

With the growing demand for highly responsive applications and systems, performance engineering becomes crucial. This involves load, stress, and scalability testing to ensure the software can handle expected user and transaction volumes.

It is also a good idea for executives to attend conferences with lead AI employees. This gives executives firsthand information and supports bonding. As executives can’t attend every conference, they should expect lead AI managers and technicians to write a report on the highlights of the conference they attend. Executives also meet together with other companies where they can introduce AI they have used or are considering to gather inspiration or problems others have experienced.
