Don't just use a chart, use your head. People toss this word around as if there is a single best practice. Here's a reality... You will have unexpected events. You can't plan for the evevt. But you can put (and leave) a portion of your capital in a column for said unplanned incidents. Harvey MacKay once said if you have a problem you can solve with your checkbook, you don't have a problem. Setting aside a company unexpected fund becomes that universal solve.

In my previous job taking a market change opportunity with introduction of new technologies we create a plan to win market share. All initial steps were successful an helping us reaching our target. We are the top of voice, we have outstanding engagements will all customers, etc. But at the end misalignment between top managers destroyed the plan completely.

Undoubtedly, always thinking that what would not be done in terms of possible scenarios, could always probably appear, that is, we must act in the face of uncertainty thinking that all the cards are on the table... doing something is an action but paralyzing ourselves in the face of doubt or Insecurity as to whether what we thought could have worked would have worked is also a great action. TRUST is the key word, trust our intuition to move forward...
