In my experience in the work place , what I had always advocated is for the man to be evaluated in relation to his job performance.To me no ethical consideration is stronger than relating the man to the job that he was employed to do, whether he's giving the organisation the best in class performance. I have been in an environment where other metrics like scores in promotion examination, additional qualifications, etc were being considered but I felt it was unethical to employ a staff based on specified qualities and begin to look for extraneous issues to evaluate him or her , giving substantial weight to issues outside the job for which he was considered a good fit

Learning is a life long process, everyday trying to learn something new will add a different depth of knowledge. New arguments are raising, same thing happening with solution or way of solving a problem. The more we become learning enthusiastic the more way of solving an issue we will discover.
