In my experience, I was working as a Software developer in a SAAS platform that uses multitenant architecture, there's limited resource allocation provided for each synchronous/asynchronous transaction (there's a limitation on the number of queries that can be made to DB in a single transaction, number of DML updates that can be made in a single transaction,etc),hence the code has to be as optimized as possible,even when your code works fine at the time you've made the changes, after some point when more functionalities are added from other projects that are happening in a single transaction, that entire transaction fails. During my free time, I also used to go through PRs of other projects of my team as well, to reverse engineer and understand the business flows of other projects. This has helped me a lot to provide an innovative idea that boosted revenue, build that, and deliver it all the way to production. All these helped to prove myself as an asset to the team!
