Building both operational and strategic networks is a given for any Career Counsellor. There are times you may not have complete information or varied tools for your clients. Those network systems will bail you out at such points. You cannot not build networks as a Counsellor. It is one of your tools for growth and success.

This is one thing I have found to be extremely helpful. Having a great mentor is obviously a great thing but when you mentor someone there is always an added onus of being responsible which makes sure that you learn and apply the skills first before passing it on to someone.

Keep a consistent learning habit is crucial. Reading 30 mins every day works better than reading 5 hours and then stopping for a while.
