It is imperative to get so this recorded/ scribed and notarised if required and then inform the affected parties that you will be proxy to their medical billing, billing submission and clinical firesight. This way so parties understand where they stand with each other and that confirmation has been granted by the client and that as an advocate you are only an intermediary.
