Resilience is important especially to 'stick with it' since we work with complex issues far out of our control, and it can feel disheartening to confront the many geopolitical challenges of our work. I keep a few guiding phrases and images near my desk to keep myself motivated and engaged, which I recommend. With each project and client, write down what it taught you, what went wrong, how you navigated it, and other moments that gave you motivation. Keep the list somewhere accessible and refer to it whenever you need a reminder of your commitment to what you do.
