Communication is an ongoing function, task, and obligation. Smoother operations depends on timely and relevant communication. Company leadership and management must have structured communications to track important metric, timelines, deliverables, processes, etc. When a company stumbles and makes mistakes, often times that mistake can be traced back to a break in proper communication flow. To improve communications through the organization, be intentional about what you are communicating Ask what does the business need to know, how often does it need to know these things, what is the system for communication that allows for greatest transparency, responsiveness and decision making. Communication processes must be routinely monitored.
